Printmaking is a constantly fascinating and sometimes surprising artform in that the results are not entirely predictable.
Pauline's starting point is watercolour sketches made outdoors, mostly from the landscape and flora of the northern Pennines and Lake District Fells. A recent visit to Nepal with a group of artists from Cumbria has been a wonderful experience and source of new inspiration for her. From the sketches Pauline develops small editions of relief prints.
