Neil Pittaway
Neil uses historical subjects, imaginative processes, direct observation and travel to create his work.
He often uses intense detail to capture the spirit of a place. This is particularly the case in his intaglio works and drawings which relate present modernity in Western culture to a historical past.
Neil studied at Gloucestershire University, Bradford University (MA in Printmaking) and the Royal Academy Schools, London. He is a member of the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers.
