As I try to develop as an artist I am influenced by my previous work, exploring the use of layers, texture and shades of blue I have tried to create intrigue and depth.
The work Boxed Blue Layers incorporates the technique of layering which is very important in my work as it represents layers of history.
Most pieces of work are executed in different shades of blue. Blue is an important feature; it represents peace, meditation and escape.
My work is about surface texture achieved by combining traditional art and craft methods with mixed media.
