Chris Boland
Chris Boland was born in York and studied Metalwork and Jewellery at Sheffield Hallam University.
Creating jewellery in silver and gemstones Chris says:
"Structure is of fundamental importance in my work, which currently consists of two collections. The first, ‘Crystalline’, is all hand made using traditional techniques. It uses polished, intersecting wires to create an ethereal effect, similar to the internal structure of a gemstone. The second, ‘Cubic’, is a more commercial range using interconnected, polished cubes to form a solid structure".
