Resident Artists in Action
Saturday 24th July. Terry, Katherine and Nathan were at the Dragon Boat Challenge, held at the Keepmoat Stadium Lake, Doncaster.
Organised by Doncaster Tourism (part of Invest in Doncaster) and Doncaster St George's Rotary Club, teams from local companies raced 30ft long dragon boats over a 200m course to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The weather was fantastic and it was a very successful and enjoyable day, over 30 members of the public contributed to two works of art.
Starting at 10am the artists had little idea of how the paintings would look at the end of the day, with the finished artwork looking very diffferent from work created at previous events.
