Although Janet’s work is figurative she has a primary interest in abstract qualities. ‘The form is everything’ On-going themes are journeys, gardens, cloth and social situations. She is interested in ambiguity and the dual image.
For Janet painting, drawing and print making are a way of discovering not only the material world but a sentient world and her own states of consciousness.
